We had Euan from Tough Floors transform our garage from stained bare concrete to a fabulous textured finish back in 2017. Euan was prompt, courteous and very professional. A pleasure to deal with. We could not have been... happier.Six year later, the epoxy coating was showing signs of deterioration. It was only a strip that is outside of where the garage door closes, this is apparently due to exposure to the weather. This issue has nothing to do with Tough floors work, but basically a problem with the product.I contacted Euan for help with what could be done. Ever pleasant, Euan dispatched Andre who came and removed the deteriorated strip and applied a new coating to the exposed area. While understandingly, it was not possible to perfectly match our original floor we are very happy with the match and the result. There was no charge for this work and we are very grateful to Euan for looking after us.In short. If you want someone who is professional, accommodating, easy to work with, does a brilliant job, and stands behind his work, you cannot go past Euan and Tough Floors. I would say two things...good quality and good customer service.We live at Wellington Point and we sought Tough Floors out to do our job on the basis of recommendations from our Neighbours.They were prompt in quoting,... scheduling and competing the job and we were very pleased with the result.The original job was completed in mid 2022 but because our original garage floor was in poor condition there was some cracking which caused some minor defects to appear. This was not because of any fault in the original preparation which was done professionally by Tough Floors.Despite this defect not being their fault Tough Floors approached the after sales service with professionalism and they came out promptly to undertake the repair without charge.read more

Our floor is the star of the fit-out of Sunrise Fresh Laundrette! Euan was super helpful at advising on colour combos that would compliment the Gold Holographic glitter I desired for that extra bling! We also wish to warmly thank our on-site workers, Duncan and Paul, for their meticulous attention to detail, their willingness to explain the process, and their courtesy, in particular their punctuality which included phoning us ahead re their arrival times. We were also relieved that, as Euan had promised, there was no smell at all from any of the preparations that were used. Tough Floors have done it again!!We have engaged with Euan and his team twice in the past year or so, and both experiences have been very positive. I would thoroughly recommend Tough Floors to others looking for this same... finish.Being on the Gold Coast, and living in a unit complex we often find it difficult to get trades out to do jobs like this for us, as they may seem, on face value, quite small. With Euan and his team this hasn’t been the case at all. We had our two balconies resurfaced in a light sandy colour to draw in the beach colours which looks fantastic, and then when we extended our balcony a year or so later to include an old unused planter box, Euan’s local Gold Coast team member, Paul, took on the job with no hesitation. What an excellent and seamless process and having Paul in the local region was a real plus. Paul engaged with us throughout the works, as did Euan the first time around, he was punctual, engaging and did a fantastic job. We couldn’t have asked for a better finish or for better tradies. I cannot believe the attitude of this company and it's staff. I rang the number and someone by the name of Euan answered. In a very professional manner I might add. Then has a chat about what i might like and some options to... consider, explaining the process clearly and accurately. Then to my astonishment i receive a quotation for the job that is what we actually spoke about. Incredible. I said yes go ahead and book me in to do the job. I started getting nervous because he did what he said he was going to do. Then some guy called Andre calls and introduces himself just like this Euan character and speaks politely saying " I will be out to do your floor first thing in the morning " Then has the audacity to actually turn up first thing in the morning, Work all day with a smile and a laugh with John who is just as diligent as you could expect. The pair of them working as a team without a gripe or complaint. The next day when Euan and John returned to finish the floor it was that same attitude that occurred the day before. I am still shaking my head that they would not leave until the floor was as perfect as it was ever going to get. Now i understand this 5 star thing that is deserved in my opinion anyhow.read more
